Responsibilities:

  • Engaged in member outreach and introduce the services for eligibility
  • Interacting with community members to understand their needs, concerns, and interests. This might involve attending community events, organizing meetings, or conducting surveys.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key community leaders, partner organizations, and other relevant groups.
  • Developing and disseminating information about the organization’s programs, services, and events to the community. This can includes working with the marketing team to create & develop marketing and sales collaterals.
  • Organizing and managing events such as workshops, seminars, information sessions, and outreach campaigns. This involves logistics planning, coordination with other team members, and ensuring the event runs smoothly.
  • Attending conferences, seminars, and other networking events to build connections and promote the organization’s objectives.
  • Representing the organization and advocating for its mission and goals in various forums. This could involve speaking engagements, participation in community meetings, or liaising with local government and other institutions.
  • Conducting research to identify community needs, potential partnerships, and opportunities for outreach. Analyzing data from outreach activities to assess their effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Collecting feedback from community members and partners to evaluate the success of outreach efforts. Preparing reports and updates for the organization’s leadership or funders.
  • Recruiting, training, and managing volunteers to assist with outreach activities.
  • Overseeing the budget for outreach activities, including tracking expenses and ensuring that activities are cost-effective.
  • Working closely with other departments within the organization to align outreach activities with overall organizational goals.
  • Ensuring that outreach strategies are culturally sensitive and inclusive, tailoring approaches to suit diverse community groups.
  • Responding to crises or urgent community concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Staying informed about best practices in outreach and community engagement, and adapting strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • 1-5 years of customer service experience
  • Ability to adapt and leverage new software and technology solutions, such as; CRM and project management tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of working independently and efficiently.
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License, a dependable daily-use vehicle, and active California auto insurance is mandatory.
