The Clubhouse Model began at Fountain House in New York in 1948 and has since grown into a network of more than 370 accredited Clubhouses across 31+ countries, including dozens across California.
Each Clubhouse is locally run but built around the same International Standards: voluntary membership, the work-ordered day, transitional employment, supported education, housing, wellness, and evening/weekend/holiday community.
