Clubhouse

An evidence-based psychosocial rehabilitation model where members and staff work side by side to rebuild confidence, friendships, employment, education, and housing — together.

How it works

Built on the international Clubhouse Model — proven to reduce hospitalization, increase employment, and end the isolation of mental illness.

01

Community of Belonging

More than a program — a community of people dedicated to one another's success. Every member is welcomed, wanted, needed, and expected each day.

02

The Work-Ordered Day

A structured weekday, side-by-side with staff, where every task that keeps the Clubhouse running is shared by members — building routine, identity, and skills.

03

Transitional Employment

Clubhouse-managed part-time positions in real businesses, with Clubhouse staff guaranteeing coverage — the first paid job back for many members.

04

Supported & Independent Employment

Longer-term jobs members hold on their own, with Clubhouse coaching, problem-solving, and peer support available whenever it's needed.

05

Supported Education

Tutoring, enrollment help, and peer accompaniment for members returning to high school equivalency, community college, or vocational training.

06

Housing Support

Assistance securing and sustaining safe, decent, affordable housing — and the day-to-day community connection that helps members keep it.

07

Wellness & Health

Connections to medical and psychiatric care, wellness programming, nutrition, movement, and peer-led health initiatives inside the Clubhouse.

08

Evenings, Weekends & Holidays

Social, recreational, and cultural programming when isolation peaks — birthdays, holidays, weekend outings, and shared meals as a core part of the model.

09

Outreach & Reach-Out

When a member stops coming, the Clubhouse reaches out — phone calls, letters, visits — because no one should disappear from the community unnoticed.

Proven results

The challenge — and the impact

How we overcome it

What Pacific Health Group does about it

Each challenge above is paired with the concrete way our care model addresses it on the ground.

01

An evidence-based recovery community

Not a day program. Not a drop-in. A membership community built on the international Clubhouse Standards — proven to reduce hospitalization and increase employment for adults living with serious mental illness.

02

Work, school, housing — together

Transitional Employment, Supported Education, and Housing support are not separate referrals. They live inside the Clubhouse, alongside the people who know the member best.

03

Integrated with the rest of Pacific Health

Clubhouse membership is coordinated with Enhanced Care Management, Behavioral Health, Community Supports, and Community Health Workers — so members get the full continuum, not a single siloed service.
